Servizi Italia S.p.A. received the attribution today of Star qualification by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., the Italian stock exchange company. Therefore, starting June 22, 2009, ordinary shares of Servizi Italia will be negotiated in the High Requisite Securities Segment (Italian acronym STAR) of the computerized stock market (MTA).
The attribution of STAR qualification follows the provision of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. on June 12 whereby the shares of Servizi Italia, currently quoted in the Expandi Market, were admitted to the MTA. .
The passage to the STAR segment fulfills the goals of ensuring greater liquidity of the stocks, obtaining more visibility for the company business and disposing of characteristics of governance aligned with the highest international standards; in this connection it should be noted that Servizi Italia had already complied voluntarily, at the time of being quoted, with the rules of the Self-Discipline Code for companies quoted on the stock exchange, on the subject of corporate governance.
