SERVIZI ITALIA approved the interim report at 30 June 2010. Rise in turnover and income:
• Consolidated revenue of € 97.2 million (+6.8% compared to 1H 2009)
• Consolidated EBITDA of € 28.6 million (+17.3%)
• Consolidated EBIT of € 11.1 million (+39.3%)
Consolidated net profit doubles to € 8.1 million (+109.2%).
Comments of the Managing Director
“We are particularly satisfied with the first half of the year, despite the continuing economic crisis,” commented Luciano Facchini, CEO of Servizi Italia S.p.A. “Results are better than expected, thanks to the hard work put in throughout the structure of the Group, which has allowed us to exceed the targets set. Thanks to these achievements, we expect to end 2010 with a significant rise in revenue and income compared to last year.
In addition, 2010 will be characterised by the start-up of new production units, as well as the rationalisation of production facilities in the North-West area, which will allow us to achieve our objectives of optimising costs and of rendering production more efficient, as set out in our plans”.
