Servizi Italia is the main Italian operator in the supply of integrated services for the hire, washing and sterilization of textiles and surgical instruments (referred to as Services)for public and private social assistance organisations and hospitals. In particular, the services supplied by the Company are subdivided into the following business areas:

•  Wash-hire Services: they include (i) design and provision of integrated hiring and reconditioning services (disinfection, washing, finishing and packaging) and logistics (collection and distribution to and from centres using the goods) of textiles articles, mattresses, accessories, (ii) hiring and washing of high visibility "118" (Emergency) articles and (iii) logistics and management of hospital garments;
•  Linen Sterilization Services: they include the design and hiring of sterile Medical Devices for surgical use (textiles for operating theatres and surgical gowns) packed in kits for operating units, made of cotton or re-usable technical material as well as personal protection articles (gloves, face masks);
•  Surgical Instruments Sterilization Services: they include (i) design and provision of washing, packaging and sterilization services for surgical instruments (owned by the entity or hired) and operating theatre accessories and (ii) design, installation and reorganisation of sterilization centres.
  The wide diversification of the range of Services offered has enabled Servizi Italia to become a strategic and privileged partner for integrated services for hospitals in the management of health services. The entrepreneurial choices made by the Company in the last years and the resulting subdivision of the Services offered into three business areas have foreseen the trends that were developing in the public health system towards the progressive outsourcing of health services (by means of integrated service contracts, reorganisation of Sterilization centres and management of the relevant Services) and an increased use of project financing construction of hospitals.
